Topic 1 — Support the arts or protect the environment? (modèle)

If a company has to choose, I believe it should give its money to protect the environment.

First, environmental problems affect everyone, including the company itself. Water shortages, pollution and climate change threaten health, agriculture and the supply of raw materials. In Morocco, for instance, drought has a direct impact on economic growth, so funding water-saving projects or tree planting is an investment in the company's own future.

Second, environmental action produces measurable results. A company can finance the cleaning of a beach, solar panels for a rural school or a recycling programme, and report the results to its customers. This strengthens its image and the loyalty of young consumers, who care about sustainability.

The arts are important too, because they preserve identity and creativity. However, artists can also find support from the state and from ticket sales, whereas nature has no one to pay for it.

In conclusion, protecting the environment is the most urgent and useful choice; the arts can be supported later, perhaps through festivals that also promote ecological values. (≈ 195 mots)

Topic 2 — « Businesses should do anything they can to make a profit » (plan)
